My goal is to inspire and motivate the youth and adults to become more active, make healthier choices, and share the experience of shaping oneself into a better person each and every day. For this reason, I opened this club with British Taekwondo to help my students achieve their health and fitness goals with martial arts and maintain the Five Tenets of Taekwondo.

Stay safe, keep active and fit at home during the COVID-19 pandemic with my Zoom Online Fitness Classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 PM.
The Zoom video conferencing tool allows us to meet and exercise together “face-to-face” during this pandemic when meeting in-person isn’t possible. It also enables individuals from other regions or different countries to join.
Physical activity is essential and has physiological benefits, but it also contributes to social and psychological well-being. It reduces the risk of developing several diseases like type 2 diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular disease. Besides this, drinking lots of fluids and maintaining a healthy and balanced diet is mandatory for health and fitness.

Taekwondo 4 Fitness Club
It is a martial arts club registered with British Taekwondo – the National Governing Body for WT Taekwondo in the United Kingdom. Services are offered at the venue and online.
The Lead Instructor is a certified Kukkiwon black belt who has been pursuing martial arts since 1989 and gained full Disclosure Checks clearance. Besides this, he is a Class C National Poomsae Judge, a qualified L2 Children’s Fitness Coach, and a Nutrition Advisor who is currently absolving a Personal Trainer Education Programme towards level 4.
What is Taekwondo?
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art defined by its focus on head-hight kicks, jumping and spinning kicks and fast kicking techniques. This sport has its roots in various Korean forms of martial arts stretching back more than 2000 years.
“Tae” intends to break or attack with the foot.
“Kwon” means to break with the fist.
“Do” interprets as the art or way.
As an art, Taekwondo concentrates on a combination of combat techniques and self-defence and an excellent form of exercise mixed with fun.
In Taekwondo, attacking and defensive movements including punching, kicking and blocking techniques, and differing stances are done in a set series and is referred to as Poomsae. These basic movements bring together all the martial art skills in a graceful yet powerful manner.
Poomsae forms are a significant part of Taekwondo’s promotion process, and practitioners must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the forms before they can progress to the next grade.
